Plastic Bags

Please continue to save your plastic grocery bags for the Mats for Homeless project.  After several days they will be safe to use and when we are able to work with them again we will use the oldest ones first.  Perhaps gather them in a paper bag to save for bringing to the church.  Jan asks that you do not wade them up and if at all possible smooth out flat.  To process the bags they must be flat and smooth for cutting into strips which is difficult if they have been waded into balls.  If you’re not able to flatten them just keep as flat as possible.
