Lent begins February 22nd with Ash Wednesday services.  Each Wednesday during Lent we will begin with a soup supper at 6 p.m. followed by Lenten services at 7 p.m.   Wednesday Services during Lent will rotate between Faith Lutheran Church in Avon and St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Speedway.  Rotation as follows:

February 22     St. Andrew's

March 1           Faith

March 8           St. Andrew's

March 15th      Faith

March 22nd     St. Andrew's

March 29th      Faith

1.  Lenten services will be informal with hymns, prayer and teaching on various faith practices like Bible study,     meditation, prayer, journaling and mindfulness. All of these will be experiential in nature in that participants will practice and experience them to strengthen and build up our spiritual walk with the Lord.  

2.  Holy Week:

Maundy Thursday Agape Dinner will again be at Faith, time to be announced. 

Good Friday Services 7 p.m., at St. Andrew's

Easter sunrise Service at Faith and then regular services.

3.  Pick up your copy of the Easter devotional booklets as these will be used in the Faith Formation program on Sunday nights at 7 p.m. There will be no Wednesday Bible Study during Lent, the last one will be February 15th and will resume April 5th with the study of the Easter Bible readings at 7 p.m.
