Friends -

Independence Day We give thanks to God for the freedom and abundance that we experience as a nation and pray that we will continue to challenge ourselves to embrace and demonstrate in our lives and laws values of freedom, justice, equality and care for all people.

We promise God to cherish and not abuse the blessings of liberty, to work for change wherever there is injustice and inequity, and to accompany our global neighbors and companion churches in striving for freedom, justice and voice.

TOP THREE THINGS TO KNOW

FOR THIS LAST WEEK OF JUNE/FIRST WEEK OF JULY:

1) Happy Birthday America! Blessed July 4th to you and yours. Have a safe and blessed July 4th. Remember those who gave their lives for these freedoms, and still fight all around the world.

2) We enjoyed hearing Bishop Graham preach and preside at Faith this past Sunday! It was great to meet him, have some fellowship time with him and his wife Meme! Let's continue to pray for his ministry in the Synod.

3) July 12th is Clothes Closet Summer Grabfest! All the clothing inventory will be placed on tables in the FH and people will come and can take all they want/need for free! Help is needed to set up Wednesday afternoon July 9th from 12-4. Please come to church and help get things organized.

God be with you until we meet again!
