Family of Faith,

It is such a joy to write to you again! This week I want to share Galatians 5:16-21 with you:

“By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, competing against one another, envying one another.”

The Stewardship Committee is working hard to create our campaign for this fall. Pastor Jerry O’Neal will begin our deep dive of these verses on the morning of Saturday, October 9. (I promise more details are coming soon on this!) I encourage you to take some time in these coming weeks to reflect on what these fruits mean for you and your life. Be sure to check out Darren’s article in our October newsletter. He has included some thought-provoking questions to consider throughout the month of October.

God’s peace and grace,
Kelli Steurer
