Welcome to Cyber Monday!! Or wait, Small Town Shopping Saturday?? Black Friday?? I type this on November 30th the 334th day of the year! You can go to an online sight called "Wikipedia" and find out everything you needed to know for this date. You can just imagine over the course of centuries how many things happened on November 30th. Actually, this site allows you to look up any date during the calendar year and get information. I have always wondered who decides if a day is "National Cookie Day" or "National nurses day!"

It may be "Cyber Monday" as you search for online deals this day, but it's really Advent Monday! The first Monday in Advent is a reminder for us to breathe, slow down, and to look forward to the birth of Christ at Christmas. Yes, the stores are full and intense shopping has been underway for a while, but let this day the Lord has made give us reason to "rejoice and be glad!" (Ps. 122:84). Call the day whatever you want; for us in this Advent season it's a day to look forward to the coming of Christ in our hearts, minds, and lives!

Please keep up on email, Facebook and visit the websites! You can still invite a friend, share the video links, and reach out. Prayer requests? You know what to do! Keep me and our Councils in your prayers! Especially we pray for Faith Lutheran and the Congregational Zoom meeting this Sunday at 11. God be with you until we meet again.

Peace, let me know of any questions, needs,
Pastor Doug

In Person Worship Suspended

Your church leadership has made the difficult decision to once again suspend indoor worship services effective immediately.  We believe this is the right thing to do, not only for each other, our congregation, but also as we support our community at large.

Indoor worship services will be suspended effective immediately through January 17th.  We will evaluate the situation again on January 7th with hopes to re-gather for indoor worship on January 24th.

Communication will continue via our website, email, Facebook, phone calls, and mail.  We are called to take care of each other; let us continue to maintain communication with one another through our thoughts, prayers, phone calls, and any other means available!
