Stewardship Workshop

The Stewardship Team is so excited to host Jerry O'Neal, Stewardship Director for the I-K Synod, who will be leading us through a seminar all about stewardship. This event will have two workshops led by Pastor O'Neal and will contain interactive pieces and stories from our members.

Here's the line up:

  • 9:30am: Join us on Zoom for a devotional and quick welcome by Pastor Doug
  • 9:45am: Pastor O'Neal will lead us through a workshop all about stewardship
  • 10:45am: Break time! Go grab a snack or some coffee...or both!
  • 11:00am: Join us back on Zoom to talk more about St. Andrew's ministries
  • 12:00pm: Wrapping it all up! Thank you for joining us!

What if you don't have internet at home?

Do not let this stop you from joining! Kelli will have a sign up at church for those who wish to attend in person. Seating for this is limited, so please sign up before Saturday or reach out to Kelli about this. Bring a pencil and notepad with you to take notes as we listen to Pastor O'Neal from our very own sanctuary!

What should you expect?

Pastor Jerry O'Neal is planning a deep dive into what it means to be good stewards in our life and in our community as well as what it means to be good stewards in our gifts to the church. This first session will feature a special presentation designed by Pastor O'Neal! Following a 15 minute break, we will regroup using the same Zoom link or back in the sanctuary to learn more about how this applies to St. Andrew's and our ministries. We will hear stories from Jim, Karen, and others about how our ministries affect them and others in our Speedway community and mission territory.

Check your email late Friday, October 8 or early Saturday, October 9. It will be there waiting for you!

What if you can't make it?

This is not a problem either! While we want everyone to participate the day of, we also understand that sometimes things happen and it's just not possible. The recorded event will be shared within a week of Saturday, October 9. Just be sure to keep up with those emails!
