Friends -

As we turn the calendar into May, we move closer to our closing date of August 29!

As that happens I want to assure you we are keeping you up to date with all the information. We are in discussion with a party that wants to purchase the building. When that is finalized, we will announce. 

The next thing on many of your minds is where do I worship in September?? Remembering worship is all day everyday, I want to offer comfort and peace! The weekend after August 29 is Labor Day weekend. Take that Sunday off and please take your time to find another church home. There is no hurry, and grief over the loss and change takes time!

There is no need to be in a hurry to find your next church!! An easy thing to do may be just come to Faith, Avon where you know me and some of their members! Then, if your call is to stay Lutheran, ELCA visit:

Messiah, Brownsburg. 

St. Stephen’s, Plainfield. 

Faith, Avon.

Bottom line, please take your time and pray. God has and will provide!! I'm open and willing to help anytime with these upcoming changes. 

Lastly, I'd like to start inviting any of you to come up at announcements time and offer a memory, favorite story you have of St. Andrew’s! This will help all of us say goodbye and journey forward in our calls to follow God!! Let me know if you are interested!

 

TOP 3 THINGS TO KNOW FOR THIS WEEK:

1) Worship service time changes to 11am, starting this Sunday, May 3.

2) Faith is having a huge garage sale inside their building Thursday, Friday,

    and until noon Saturday.

3) Thank you to the many who stayed after church last Sunday and helped

clean. Special thanks to Jan Smith, Pat Tumey, and Amanda Hunter who did a lot of work in the kitchen!
