It was a solemn day in our life together at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. Thanks to Jim Patton who reviewed a variety of issues and events over the last 3-4 years. All this was shared with those who stayed Sunday past.

Our finances show us negative $30,000 as of the end of September. We have two Council positions no one wants to fill among other positions across the ministry.

So, as was explained Sunday, the Council will recommend to the Congregation a "Holy Closure" at a date to be determined. The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 3 "There is a time to live, and a time to die.." 

This is no one's fault, we will hold our heads high on that last Sunday. We haven't failed, we have had a highly successful run for over 85 years as St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Speedway.

If you have any questions or concerns, ideas, etc. please speak with Pastor or a Council member.
