Have you ever read the Bible?? I hope you have (or you still can, of course.) No time like the "present"  to get into the gift of the Word of God! In my experience in ministry, most people are fearful. Or they didn't understand what they are reading and stopped. 

Maybe it's the fact there are over 3000 translations in over 2000 languages! Wow!! Some people like to read from The Message, the most contemporary recent version.

Some prefer a Bible with explanations/commentary off to the side. Some like explanations, geography, or maps! 

Bottom line is to just do it. Get an app for your phone, get whatever style, type, language,or translation that works for you!!

Remember every Wednesday night we study the Bible lessons that will be read on Sunday! The best way to prepare, spiritually, for church. Second/Fourth Sunday nights at 7pm is Faith Formation, a Bible study with people from both churches slugging it out and helping each other understand. We print the next week's Bible study passages in the announcements for your convience!
