Stacks! I generally dislike "stacks" of stuff. As I look around at my desk and counter tops, I have stacks. Stacks of mail/bills, stacks of "don't-throw-out-yet-decide later" stuff. I have books to read, and I must own 4-5 Bibles laying hither and yon! I sometimes find it easier to make a stack, than to just make a decision! In fact, after I type this, I will take a stack to my easy chair and go through everything.
Do you have stuff around your home? Do you also have stacks of things laying around? I know for me; decisions have to be made. I have to decide where the item goes and take care of it. And follow through. And go to the back bedroom where the file cabinet is and find the right file, and sort. Sometimes, stacks are the lazy way of handing clutter or mail or whatever.
My goal for this week will be to implement by own way of living, that I sometimes forget, called: WIN! What's Important Now? When you use the WIN formula you get the priorities, the most important things before you. One at a time.
For us in the Christian life, WIN is always Jesus! What's Important Now? Jesus... prayer. There are many on both churches' prayer lists. WIN? Loving neighbor? Calling a friend or family member where an apology is needed? You know. Follow your heart, implement the WIN formula. You will be more spiritually fulfilled....and, get rid of your stacks of mail and papers!
