What has priority in your life? Each day as you begin your day, how do you sort out the demands of daily living in your home, workplace, or just in daily living? We are all busy, and many things ask of our time. And I have come to believe we operate on a "panic" level sometimes and, at the end of the day, we are exhausted and overwhelmed.
This is not the case for all of us, but if that introduction fits try this idea: WIN! What's Important Now. What's Important Now? If you apply the WIN formula (I forget the author of this idea from long ago in my life) you find things begin to line up. WIN helps you set up your day, a set of tasks, or a big job one step, one piece, one priority at a time.
We really "win" when God gets priority in our daily lives! You are aware, right, God is not just a Sunday morning God?? Start each day with a few deep breaths, breathe in the Holy Spirit, breathe out the sin, the struggles, the worries and anxieties. Take a minute out to pray, read Bible verses on your phone, an app, or even right out of the Bible!!
TOP THREE THINGS TO KNOW FOR THE LAST WEEK OF APRIL 25TH:
1) Worship time change begins this Sunday! Per the Shared Ministry Agreement, Faith moves to 9 a.m., and St. Andrews moves to 11 a.m. (St. Andrew's Adult Forum and kids Sunday School at 10)
2) Installation for your Pastor! May 22nd services for both churches will be at 10 a.m. at Hendricks County Fairgrounds, details to come! There will be a luncheon afterwards and this is a great occasion to invite others to come with you! All are welcomed and invited. (The service will be on FB live, and there will be no services at either church that day)
3) Zoom Bible study options! Faith Formation Sunday evening at 7 is a fun and festive event! We are currently reviewing the book by Max Lucado, Traveling Light, based on Psalm 23. Pick up a copy and join us. The Wednesday Bible study will not meet this week and resume May 4th at 7 p.m. studying the Bible lessons for the coming Sunday.
God's peace be with you! Pray for me as I serve as a Spiritual Director on a Via de Cristo weekend this week! (Visit http://www.inkyvdc.org for more information!) Pr. Chris Wynn will be on call starting Thursday at 317-667-4375 thru Sunday for both churches. He will supply at Faith and Pr. Keith Kreisel returns to supply at St. Andrews May 1rst. Please make them feel welcomed as you always do! To God be the glory,
God be with you until we meet again!
