Family of faith at St. Andrews:

I know you probably really miss our Sunday morning gatherings. Worship
attendance is, indeed, a habit! And when you live with a certain habit, and it
gets stopped/interrupted, or ends, it's stressful! And it's hard. I know Zoom
and Virtual worship are not the same thing.

HOWEVER, it is the next BEST thing. Tune in Wednesday night at 7 and
fellowship with us as we study the lessons for the coming Sunday. Again,
no better way to spiritually prepare for church than to study/read the Bible
lessons for that next Sunday. Sunday night is another opportunity and I
believe many of you who used to attend, or never have, would deeply enjoy
engaging. We are "family friendly"; and we enjoy laughing and "going down
rabbit holes"; but end up growing spiritually as a result. This is an "equal
church"; Bible study, and ALL are welcomed and invited.

From the Gospel of Luke this Sunday.
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me (and you), because God has anointed
me (baptism) to proclaim good news to the poor...and to proclaim the
year of the Lord's favor."  Luke 4:18.

TOP THREE THINGS TO KNOW FOR THE WEEK OF JANUARY 17TH:

1) Monday was Martin Luther King, Jr Day, a Federal Holiday. Let us
remember his ministry and work for racial equality and pray for that equality
around the world, especially in our country and state. There are multiple
documents and information on racial equality from our denomination
at http://www.elca.org or http://www.iksynod.org.

2) Congregational Annual Meeting THIS Sunday, January 23rd, 11 a.m. on
Zoom! A link with the Annual Reports is being forwarded twice this week to
your email. Please note it's a simply click to join in, try and arrive a few
minutes early so everyone can be admitted.

3) Virtual Church is difficult. Please remember your church in your giving
with online options or "snail mail!" We don't know for sure how long this will
last but are watching the county numbers each week. Please be"response
able", to stay up to date with emails, check our website and Facebook
pages and pray. Be safe, take care of yourself!!

63 DAYS TO THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!!

God be with you until we meet again!
