Good day Family of Faith at St. Andrew's!!

As I write this I am preparing for tonight's (Monday) Joint Council meeting. This is an official first step in our shared ministry together with Faith Lutheran! I am looking forward to this meeting and know together we will follow the Lord in mission.

I know from talking to many of your privately, that there is some "fear and trepidation" about how, exactly, this shared ministry is going to work! And my response is, let's remember it is God who called us together in whatever way it works! We will stay together as a Family of Faith, we will hold our independence and unique history. We will serve together with our siblings in Christ at Faith Lutheran, Avon, to serve the Lord in our mission territory! God has called us all together, let us respond with joy and thanksgiving.

I feel we still need to worship together and I believe what we are doing for 30 minutes, with hand washing, distance, and masks to be very safe. Don't forget the "half way" option to listen on your car radio in the parking lot. We will place an usher outside to give you an order of service and Communion. This person can also receive your offerings!!! Please remember you may also watch live on Facebook or see the video later in the day, and within a few days the service video will be posted on the web site.

Peace be with you,
Pr. Doug
