Fruits of the Spirit: Gentleness

This Sunday night at 7 p.m., we will continue our study/discussion on the Fruits of the Spirit. These are 9 guidelines to live by according to Paul in Galatians 5:22-23: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, and Self-Control. 

We will study one at a time in order. This week we will focus on "Gentleness!" Bible verses that have this word include Matthew 11:28-30, Matthew 21:5, Proverbs 15:1, 1 Corinthians 4:21, Philippians 4:4-5, 1 Peter 3:15, among others.  

These discussions are led by St. Andrews member Jim Patton, include Holy Communion at the beginning if you weren't able to attend, and ends promptly at 8 p.m. It's a neat time of sharing, learning about God and God's Word, and getting to know each other and friends from the other congregation. There is no homework, and you may certainly come and go on any "givan" Sunday and you don't have to study ahead. Come and hang out!! Join us, invite a friend or family member!
